CMKB News: Cool Keyboards We Don't Get To Play With 13-OCT-2017

US Market is peculiar enough that not all of the cool keyboards from China or such are exported to the US. About once a week, I hope to show you what we are NOT getting if we don't live in China, despite all the talk about innovation and such.

Today, let us show you a keyboard so far exclusive to China.

UPDATE: Looks like it's coming soon to the US as "Drevo Vrangr", see update at tend.

This is RK "Shorthand"

It is a dual-mode Bluetooth / Wired keyboard that can be paired to 3 devices at once and has a 96 key layout (with numpad)

It uses the clicky (blue) version of the new Kailh Choc low-profile mechanical switches. In wired mode it claims NKRO and under Bluetooth, 6KRO.

The side lights even change color at a keypress.

The keys are backlit in wired operation mode, and has lighting effects.

No battery life is claimed, but it is expected to last several days under a single charge.

It is only 22.5mm tall, that's less than 1 inch at max thickness.

So far, it is available only in China, such as RK's own Tmall store (in Chinese, of course) for $399 RMB, which is $61 USD

You can probably order one now with a proxy.

EDIT: Those in the US are advised to WAIT as Drevo will be selling it as Drevo Vrangr soon.
