CMKB News: Does MantisTek GK2 mechanical keyboard contain a keylogger?
Now we have report from Tomshardware that the previously suspected "cloud driver" does not send individual keystrokes, but rather, the number of times each key has been pressed. This is NOT a keylogger, but rather key-stat collector. This is is STILL a serious violation of user privacy, and violates privacy laws in Europe.
You can protect yourself by adding CMS.EXE to your firewall rules.
Right now, this is the only keyboard that have this issue, but more may be found in the future.
